Elementary
The elementary school welcomes students aged 6 to 11 across two cycles (the three years of the fundamental learning cycle and the first two years of the consolidation cycle) and five grade levels :
-
- The preparatory course (CP)
- Elementary course, first year (CE1)
- Elementary school, 2nd year (CE2)
- The first year of middle school (CM1)
- The middle school year 2 (CM2)
Cycle 2, from CP to CE2, is the cycle of acquiring fundamental knowledge.
Cycle 3 , which links the last two years of primary school (CM1 and CM2) and the first year of middle school (6th grade) , is the consolidation cycle . This cycle has a dual objective: to consolidate the acquisition of fundamental knowledge (introduced in Cycle 2) and to allow for the best possible transition between primary and middle school.
Mastering the language remains a central objective of cycle 3. The student must be sufficiently autonomous in reading and writing to continue their schooling.
English and Arabic classes are an integral part of primary education . Students develop and thrive in a multilingual world.
